Welcome -
A little bit about the Association................
The Collingwood Park State School P & C Association is a progressive one and is able to make a sizable donation to the school each year for items that will benefit students. The P & C is made up of an executive committee of four parents with two school representatives and three to four regular parents. The Association is also supported by a large number of parents and community members (citizens) that volunteer their time throughout the school as well as members of the Ipswich City Council, who are more than happy to participate and help with community events and take an interest in what is happening at your child/ren's school.
With all of the new projects the P & C Association has undertaken, as well as its existing operations, it has been decided to keep our community up to date with a website in addition to our weekly section in the school newsletter. It has been realised that families are very short on spare time and although our preference is always for parent and citizen attendance and participation at our meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, it is not always possible, so we hope to provide information in an alternative way to families.
